The website offers information specifically for congregations.
Greater Washington Interfaith Power and Light
Helps congregations, religious institutions and others in the Washington, D.C. area work for a more just, sustainable and healthier creation by reducing the threat of global warming. The website offers practical information for taking action toward “greening” buildings and other activities. There is also a Best Practices Group where stories are shared about others’ experiences with environmental stewardship activities.
Interfaith Coalition on Energy
Offers free consulting service to churches and synagogues in the US without charge. In addition to answering general questions, the organization has experience with historical buildings.
