Diocesan Committee on the Environment: Resources

Welcome to the Committee on the Environment’s resource pages. While it is logistically impossible for us to provide a continuously updated, thoroughly researched list of resources for each topic, we can provide a starting place for your research. The links listed under each section are known by members of the Committee to be of high quality. We hope you find this helpful.

The Earth Portal has three components:

  • The Encyclopedia of Earth contains over 2000 articles produced and reviewed by 700 scholars from 46 countries.
  • The Earth Forum provides commentary from scholars and discussions with the general public.
  • The EarthNews offers news stories on environmental issues drawn from many sources.
