SAFEGUARDING GOD’S PEOPLE

Safeguarding God’s People, part of Praesidium Academy and The Epsicopal Church’s Safe Church program, provides participants (Learners) with the information they need to build healthy, respectful relationships while protecting vulnerable adults from abuse and neglect. Most of the courses are available in both English and Spanish.

Getting Started

    • Identify the person in the parish who serves as manager for Praesidium Academy users.
    • If there is not a person trained to do this yet, please contact Kathleen Hall.
    • To be added as a Learner, the parish manager will need your name and email address.
    • New learners receive an email invitation and instructions for getting started.
    • Note: Please be sure to check your Junk/SPAM folders as well. The email will come from [email protected]

You are strongly encouraged to complete the following courses and discuss how they apply in your setting.
Each course takes only 20-30 minutes to complete.
