On Wednesday, May 11th at 7-8:30 pm, St. John’s Norwood will host a hybrid Community Forum on God and Guns in America. Join on Zoom or come to the Parish Hall. As Forum Moderator, Rector Sari Ateek will discuss the book’s thoughtful examination of guns and gun ownership with author Michael Austin, a Philosophy Professor and ethicist. Rev. Hope Christensen, co-chair of the newly formed Faith Leaders for Ending Gun Violence, will also speak, addressing chapter 7 of the book, “More than Thoughts and Prayers.” There will be time for questions from both Zoom and in-person attendees, and light refreshments will be served after the Zoom program adjourns.
