Migrant Accompaniment Training

Learn how to provide practical and emotional support during ICE/ISAP check-ins and court hearings, easing the impact of a dehumanizing immigration system. Whether offering transportation, being a compassionate witness, or simply showing up with a caring presence, your support makes all the difference.
We are especially looking for volunteers with access to cars, weekday availability, and Spanish speakers — but everyone is welcome to join this important training. We’ll begin with a grounding in our faith-based values, which inspire our mission of compassion and justice. No experience necessary to join!
Sponsored by the Refugee Response Team in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington (EDOW) and Congregation Action Network. Training content provided by DMV Accompaniment Network (DAN).
