CONSTITUTIONS AND CANONS

The constitution and canons of the diocese shape the life of our community. The constitution establishes foundational principles, and the canons define how those principles are implemented.

Amendments to the constitution must pass in two consecutive diocesan conventions, while changes to the canons become effective after only one vote. The current constitution and canons were approved at the 2024 convention.
