St. John’s Norwood Advent Lessons & Carols

St. John’s Norwood will offer its annual Advent Lessons & Carols service on Sunday, December 8, starting at 5:00 pm.

Featuring the music of the St. John’s Choir, this beautiful and reflective tradition provides a great opportunity to prepare spiritually for Christmas. It includes readings that recount the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus. These readings are interspersed with the singing of anthems and hymns that reflect on the themes of hope, anticipation, and the coming of Christ.
