Join Young Adults (20’s & 30’s) from around the Diocese of Washington for 6 Saturdays of service and reflection centering on Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:31-46. The group will gather for intros, and prayer at 10am, followed by service with EDOW partner organizations focused on justice in the DMV. The day concludes at noon with a brief reflection.
On Saturday, March 9, the group will serve at Seabury Friendship Terrace. We will meet with residents and build community by playing board games and card games. Join young adults as we seek to “visit the sick” (Mt. 25:36b) and have fun together!

On Saturday, March 2, the group will serve at Samaritan Ministries of Greater Washington’s office in Northwest, DC. Samaritan Ministries seeks to bring together neighbors who face poverty, homelessness or other debilitating challenges with partner leaders, donors, volunteers and staff in a shared ministry that improves the lives of all throughout the Washington area, one next step and neighbor at a time. Join young adults as we seek to “clothe the naked” (Mt. 25:36a) with Samaritan Ministries by sorting toiletries and clothes for our neighbors.

On Saturday, Feb. 24, the group will serve at Grace’s Table located at Grace Episcopal Church in Georgetown.
Grace’s Table offers a brown bag meal for 40 to 60 of our unhoused neighbors. Join young adults as we seek to “feed the hungry” (Mt. 25:35a) by preparing and serving lunch, helping with set up and clean up, and visiting with guests at Grace’s Table.
