A Liturgical Inflected Poetry Event

A Liturgical Inflected Poetry Event, March 29, 7 pm – 8:30 pm, Busboys and Poets, Brookland, DC – Once again the Diocese of Washington is partnering with the LOGOS poetry collective in an effort to foster creative forms of spiritual nourishment in the community of Brookland. This is part of our larger work to create worshiping communities for Rising Generations. The intention of liturgically inflected poetry is to cultivate a space where persons of all faiths and none could build connections with the divine and each other through shared encounters with poetry. This time the poets we are excited to welcome poets, Carolyn Forche and Roger Reeves. The event is free of charge, and food as well as libations will be available for purchase.
