The second annual Leadership Learning Day on February 11 was an overwhelming success. St. Andrew’s School graciously hosted 157 representatives from over 39 parishes across the diocese for a time of learning, fellowship and leadership development.
Participants chose from seven sessions, each designed to build leadership capacity and enable better parish functioning. Some programs, like The Ministry of Administration, were old favorites that assist leaders in the most tactical of parish work. Others, like Sanctuary, were new and speak to current missional imperatives.
Bishop Mariann has made clear that parish revitalization is her top priority; and while her staff members are delighted to be able to offer opportunities to build capacity, we are even more gratified that so many of you join us for them. Our goal is both to strengthen our parishes and their ability to serve the world.
