2024 Health Benefits Open Enrollment for Parish Staff Starts October 11

Diocesan Council approved the medical and dental benefit offerings and a 3.5% salary adjustment for 2024 at its September meeting. Good news: the cost of health benefits is increasing just 2.6% for most participants.

All active parish staff enrolled in a dental plan MUST choose a new plan or lose coverage. January 1, 2024, dental benefits will move from CIGNA Dental to DELTA Dental. Each participant will need to select a new plan during the annual open enrollment period, either Delta Comprehensive or Delta Premium. Please read the Annual Open Enrollment materials from the Episcopal Church Medical Trust carefully.

Diocesan Council also approved a 3.5% salary adjustment for 2024. The Human Resources Committee recommended this increase based on the desire to keep salaries in line with inflation and area compensation trends. Compensation tables on the EDOW website will be updated later this month.
