The Forma Conference is an annual gathering of forward-thinking minds, industry leaders, and dedicated professionals in faith formation. It is an opportunity for professional development, community building and refreshment. The Episcopal Diocese of Washington will join the other dioceses of Province III to participate in the radically hybrid 2025 Forma Conference on January 27-30. This innovative approach is designed to provide accessible, top-notch professional development while enhancing important connections that make being in regional community special.
A substantial discount is being provided to those who participate. Faith formation leaders may choose to participate either online or in-person at the onsite gathering at the Claggett Center in Adamstown, MD. To secure your place for either the in-person or online experience, please use this registration form provided exclusively for Province III attendees.
In-Person Option ($250): The Province III Forma Retreat will take place at the Claggett Center and includes a three nights’ stay at the Christiane Inn, nine (9) meals, and access to all sessions and activities, including registration. No need for a separate registration for Forma; it will be handled for you. This experience is being offered at a reduced rate of $250, made possible through a matched fee contribution from the Diocese of Washington ($250) and sponsorship from Province III ($120). A draft schedule of the retreat is provided as is information about our spiritual practice leaders.
Online Option ($50): Opt for the online participation in Forma 2025 at a discounted rate of $50 (originally $120). Once you complete your registration and payment through this registration form, your information is seamlessly integrated into the Forma platform. Expect a confirmation within 10 days. You do not need to undertake an additional registration process with Forma, as registration will be handled for you.
Registration closes on January 6, 2025 and is very close to capacity. For more information about the retreat or other opportunities to connect with formation leaders, contact the Rev. Amanda Akes-Cardwell.
