We invite young adults from across the diocese to an evening with Bishop Mariann on faithful living.
“Vocation” is a common topic in mission-minded communities—and one often treated as a matter of grave concern. Before we can identify one worthy of our time and attention though, just what exactly is meant by vocation anyway? What might healthy alignment in work, life, and faith feel like? And just how are we to faithfully prepare for and navigate life’s decisive moments?
With story sharing from Bishop Mariann, join for an evening on the theme of learning discernment as a lifegiving practice. Following an opening reception, a reflective discussion on the places God calls us to, the program will conclude with a brief liturgy and opportunity for continued fellowship.
Whether deeply rooted in congregational life or unaffiliated, all young adults are welcome and encouraged to attend. Refreshments and light appetizers to be provided. To aid in our planning, please RSVP here.
